Q: Will my factory safety still work?
A: Yes, our stocks are cut out to except the factory parts.
*Note: You are responsible for the use of aftermarket triggers, we have machined in additional room for these triggers, however, we will not take responsibility for other manufacturer's tolerances or quality.
*You must check for proper fit and safe function!
Q: Will my rifle be more accurate?
A: Yes, if installed correctly. We have not had one customer state that their rifle is not more accurate.
Q: How much of a gain in accuracy, reduction in MOA can I expect?
A: Our customer field testing reports show from 15% to 300% decrease in MOA.
Q: What is MOA?
A: Minute Of Angle (MOA), is a representation of angular measurement. 1 MOA at 100 yards is equal to about 1 inch, 1 MOA at 1000 yards is equal to about 10 inches and so on.
Q: Can I put my rifle back to the original configuration?
A: Yes, our system does not alter or harm your rifle in any way.
Q: Do I need to use "Pillars" or "Bedding" with this stock?
A: No, we machine the stock for the proper reciever resting points. No pillars or bedding are required.
Q: Will this stock work for Hunting?
A: Yes, the Mcree chassis makes an excellent hunting stock.
Q: Can I use a sling?
A: Yes, the Mcree chassis is machined to accept "flush cup" sling swivels or standard sling studs.
Q: Can I use a Bipod with this stock?
A: Yes, the standard stock is set up for a Harris style bipod connection on the front section and includes a sling stud for bipod mounting.
Q: Can I use a bipod that mounts on Picatinny rails?
A: Yes, the stocks are set up for a Picatinny rail to be mounted under the front section also. Just order an additional Pic rail with your stock.
Q: Are the stock parts interchangeable?
A: Mostly, the system is designed to be able to mix and match parts. All parts in a given receiver group will interchange.
Q: Are there any parts that do not interchange?
A: Yes, some parts are application specific, double check with us when placing your order.
Q: Will other rifle actions fit into the Mcree chassis system?
A: Most clones of the main brands will fit.
